    Responsibilities

    Under the direction of the Lead CT Technologist, performs a variety of procedures that require sound judgment, ingenuity and initiative in addition to having:

    • Demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely and effectively
    • Prepare patients for procedures which includes proper positioning
    • Ability to effectively communicate procedures and processes
    • Ability to maintain established protocols done within the department

     

    Qualifications

    Education:

    High School Diploma or GED required.

    Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training at an AMA approved school.

     

    Experience/Skills:

    Previous CT Scan experience preferred.

    Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.

     

    Licenses/Certificates:

    Current ARRT Licensure.

    Maintains appropriate CE credits as per the ARRT.

    Current American Heart Association CPR for HealthCare Provider required.
