Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy: 1. Independently and accurately completes medication histories for patients in the emergency department and medical floors. 2. Enters medication histories into eMAR systems correctly, and consults with covering pharmacist as needed. 3. Performs clerical tasks, clinical tasks, and other duties as assigned in conjunction with pharmacists driven activities.
Education: High School Diploma required; college level courses desirable (but not required) Experience: 3 years preferred in hospital or retail pharmacy setting/other medical experience may be considered. Licenses/Certificates: Pharmacy Technician Certification required, or must be obtained within 3 months of filling position.
