Responsible for the set up and delivery of patient and cafeteria meals in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ensures that quality food & service is provided at all time; maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and serving areas.
Prepares food items for patients, cafeteria, and special functions as assigned; follows department’s safety and sanitation rules and regulations; follows H.A.C.C.P. regulations; prepares patient trays for meals following specific menu requests from the patient and dietitian and restocks items on all patient units including jello, crackers, juice, milk, etc.; performs other duties as assigned.
High School diploma, with at least 3 years of experience in the Food Service industry required.
