Registers patients and processes related paperwork. Duties include interviewing patients, preparing standard registration forms, and performing other admission or transfer related tasks. May be expected to perform clerical and secretarial work. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Reports to Director of Admissions.
Requires a high school diploma and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Candidate must be able to type minimum 55 wpm. Must have some type of registration experience. Some knowledge of medical insurance. Must be able to work on a high volume demanding atmosphere. Able to multi-task and work under pressure. Critical thinking and able to have an effective communication with other coworkers. Shift will be 7a-3p, every other weekend required.
