Competently performs Nuclear Medicine Imaging procedures on inpatients and outpatients including PET/CT, and Heart Vascular exams while working as a team with the staff of the Nuclear Medicine section. Must be able to rotate weekend and holiday call. Must be available until 6 pm Monday through Friday if patient volumes warrant.
Independantly performs general Nuclear Medicine Exams, PET/CT, and Heart Vascular exams.
Demonstrates the ability to take responsibility and ownership for the outcome of all actions and decisions with particular emphasis on customer satisfaction and fiscal performance.
Under the direction of a physician, administers radionuclides, including venipuncture for the administration of isotopes
Responsible for performing all radionuclide procedures, isotope preparations, including preparation of kits.
Performs all quality control in an independent manner.
Sends images to PACS for storage and interpretation; attaches images to the correct patient under the correct accession number and order.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of formal AMA school of Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent experience.
Current ARRT Licensure or CNMT Licensure.
Maintains appropriate CE credits as per the ARRT or CNMT.
Current AHA CPR for HealthCare Provider required.
