Responsible for providing healthcare coordination to Hospital employees following injury, tracking injury occurrences, maintaining records, and counseling.  Conducts post-offer physical examinations and return to work evaluations.  Provides education to employees and updates applicable policies as needed.  Communicates effectively with employees, physicians and administrative personnel.  Serves as a resource to hospital staff on work related and general healthcare issues.


Employee Health Coordinator conducts pre-employment, resident, contractor and student health screens; annual fit testing; flu shots; Workers comp coordination to include risk assessments, transitional duty, surveillance and prevention training, injury/exposure reporting to Environment of Care Committee, Infection Control Committee, Nursing Leadership, and OSHA; coordination of trnsitional duty program, In-service training for staff and managers on injury/exposure prevention; Annual Employee Health Fair.


Monday through Friday schedule. May require occasional weekends to accommodate annual mandatory vaccination requirements.


Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required

Current RN license in Pennsylvania, required

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
