Under the direction of the Director Surgical Services, the Perioperative Services Educator is responsible for the annual competencies, in-services, orientation, and new product training for all perioperative departments including the Operating Room, SPU, PAT, PACU. Endoscopy, CVIR, and SPD.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of approved school of nursing.

BSN or BS in related filed required.

MSN preferred.

 

Experience:

Five years experience in surgical services.

Nurse educator experience is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:

Licensed and currently registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Professional certification preferred
