The Mental Health Technician acts as a role model and provides direct care for patients under the supervision of professional staff.  Recognizes and assists with appropriate interventions for patient problems, records on the medical chart, facilitates education groups, assists with assessments and assists with implementing treatment plans.  Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. 


Position does include working weekends (Sat and Sun) preferably alternate weekends, minumum of one weekend per month required



  • Bachelors Degree in clinical mental health field like Social Work and Psychology

Certifications / Licenses:

  • American Heart BLS CPR required.
  • CPI Training within 30-60 days of hire.


  • Three to five years experience in an acute mental health care is preferred.
