A Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivery of patient  care (direct and indirect) through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.  

As a Registered Nurse in the Women's Maternal health unit, responsibilites include Mother/Baby care.



Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing


Two (2) years recent medical surgical nursing experience required


Valid license as Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Valid American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider CPR certification required

Valid ACLS certification required

Neonatal Resuscitation Certification within three (3) months of hire

Basic Electric Fetal Monitoring Training within three(3) months of hire

Advanced Electric Fetal Monitoring Training within one (1) year of hire
