    Responsibilities

    With minimal supervision, provides social work services to OB Clinic patients and their families in inpatient and outpatient settings. Facilitates utilization of health care and community resources to enable optimal level of functioning. Performs administrative tasks as assigned by the Department Director.

    Qualifications

    Education:

     

    Master’s Degree in Social Work from accredited school.

     

     

    Experience:

     

    Good knowledge of the principles and practices of social work, good understanding of community health, welfare, and social agencies

    Must adhere to national Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics

    Greater than two years experience in a medical or health care setting preferred

     

     

     

    Licenses/Certificates:

     

    State licensure in Commonwealth of PA as social worker (LSW or LCSW).

    Affiliation with the Association of Social Workers is encouraged
