A Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivery of patient (direct and indirect) through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Communicates with supervising Radiologist with respect to pre-procedure antibiotics, required lab results, consents, history and physical.
Communicates with physicians with respect to appropriate pre-procedure arrangements.
Explains procedures to patients before doing study.
Cares for the acutely ill and assists during emergency reactions.
Identifies, interprets assessment data (including signs and symptoms, diagnostic data) that indicate risk situations and initiates appropriate intervention.
Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
Minimum of two years of critical care experience.IR/Cath Lab experience preferred.
Licensed as Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Valid American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
Valid ACLS required.
