The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing general ledger entries and performing account reconciliations. Responsibility to include resolving reconciliation issues and establishing processes to prevent further occurrences for out of balance conditions. This role will be primarily focused on the Physician Practices. The Financial Analyst is also responsible for providing the Director feedback to improve quality and accuracy of Financial Statements and supports efforts to produce timely and accurate financial statements. The Financial Analyst independently prioritizes his/her own work and assists other personnel when appropriate. The Financial Analyst works on a number of projects and issues on a routine basis.
While the job will begin at Pottstown Hospital, this job will most likely end up being housed at the Reading Hospital, after familiarity is gained with the Pottstown Physician Practices, with progressinve addition of other Tower Health Clinics. Expected light travel betweeen Tower Health and Phoenixville, Brandywine, Jennersville and Chestnut Hill Hospitals.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
Two to three years accounting experience in a healthcare environment.
