Performs and provides secretarial, clerical, and administrative support services to the Human Resources Department preparing materials and correspondence for all hospital departments, recording and cataloging file documents, answering the telephone, and assisting with HR and Staff Development programs. Assists with tracking insurance enrollments and pension plan information. � Administers human resource processes and procedures under the direction of the Employment Manager.� Contributes to professional working relationships with internal and external customers. Observes professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical or employment status of Chestnut Hill Health System patients and their families. Must follow accepted hospital policies and procedures and safety practices for patients, visitors and hospital employees.� Report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action.� Must participate in compliance training and safety instructional programs as assigned.
Education: �Requires a high school diploma with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. � Experience: Professional office experience.� Customer service oriented with excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills required.� Must have ability to work independently and manage multiple changing priorities. Working knowledge of MicroSoft products Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.� Ability to function well under stressful conditions �
