    Responsibilities

    Clinical Team Lead Essential Functions: The Responsibility and Accountability 'meets standards' when: (1) Maintains efficient patient accommodations and clinical quality. Educates patients regarding health-related issues (diabetes, initiatives, Anticoagulation). (2) Assists Practice Supervisor in resolving clinical staff issues. Assist Practice Supervisor in evaluating clinical staff members. Mentors clinical staff new hires or delegates responsibilities to appropriate clinical staff member. (3) Helps weekly clinical staff schedule ensuring coverage for time off, assist with  nursing schedules to ensure efficient flow of patient activity within the office setting. Assist and covers for clinical staff in their absence. (4) Conducts scheduled meetings with staff to review procedures and any problems. Maintains clinical staff records regarding education (ie Point of Care Testing, OSHA training). Communicates/educates clinical staff regarding relevant clinical issues, specifically relays the information gained at Clinical Forums. (5) Monitors all expiration dates of office medications. Stocks inventory clinical supplies. Oversees the ordering of clinical supplies, vaccines for the office. (6) Processing laboratory results for physicians and practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods. Maintains bio-hazard log of all chemicals within the practice. (7) Phones triage and return voice-mail messages. Responds to patient emergencies and schedules follow-up appointments, consults, and test as needed. (8) Performs the routine duties of his/her clinical level, helps educate and train our Residents and all new team members.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • An Associate Degree from an accredited school of Nursing
    • Current Pennsylvania RN license
    • Current BLS Certification
    • 2-4 years appropriate clinical and supervisory experience (required)
    • Knowledge of Medical Terminology (required) 
    • Required Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, General Clerical Skills, Skilled in performing basic Clinical/Administrative and Medical Procedures. Strong patient satisfaction orientation
