    Responsibilities

    Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of OR guides and directs surgical services to implement and meet hospital and departmental goals and standards. Assumes responsibility for the quality of patient care delivered in clinical areas defined. Is responsible for meeting TJC standards and regulatory compliance for areas of responsibility. Promotes collaboration with physicians, employees, personnel of other departments of the organization as well as meeting needs of patients and their families.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Graduate of approved school of nursing
    • Master's degree required

     

    Experience:

    • Surgical services experience required
    • Minimum 5-10 years management level experience desired

     

    Licenses/Certificates:

    • Current Healthcare Provider CPR required through the American Heart Association 
    • Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
