Reading Hospital Child Development Center is a childcare facility established to serve the children of employees of Reading Hospital- Tower Health as well as children from nearby communities. The center provides quality childcare and educational activities that help children reach their fullest potential. The Child Development Center offers a rich, stimulating and nurturing atmosphere suitable for children's growth as well as physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills development.
We are currently searching for a passionate and motivated individual ready to bring in new ideas and help our children grow and succeed.
Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Creating weekly lesson plans
-Carrying out lesson plans
-Serving meals and snacks
-Daily art/reading/music activities
-Supervising outdoor play
-Introducing new concepts such as pre-reading and pre- writing skills
-Sharing daily evaluations with parents and conducting parent-meetings as requested
High School Diploma/GED Required
15 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field; and two years of experience related to the care and development of children;
or high school diploma GED certification and three years work experience related to the care and development of children.
