|Maintains functions necessary to organize, maintain and complete filing tasks for all sections of the Accounting Department for system transition.|
The Accounting Clerk is responsible to assist the Accounting staff with day to day operations including but not limited to; mail pickup and delivery, research and process payment requests, matching checks to invoices and vouchers for payment and filing, storage box filing, assist with daily and monthly stats reports, journal entry data entry, running canned reports to appropriate file folders, bank reconciliations by using financial and accounting system controls and standards.
High School Diploma or GED Required. 2 Years of General Accounting Experience preferred. Excellent Computer Skills, including all Microsoft applications. Knowledge of financial statement review and account analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Working knowledge of accounting software applications and data base systems.
