The Performance Improvement (PI) Engineer is a key role in improving quality of care for patients, improving efficiency in operations, and working on projects related directly to the strategic plan of Tower Health and its business entities. The PI Engineer works closely with Executive Leadership in project selection and chartering of key initiatives and teams. The PI Engineer functions as a leader, teacher, coach, and mentor on a wide range of quality, safety, and performance improvement activities. In this position, the PI Engineer participates in the development and teaching of quality improvement training programs as well as the development and distribution of quality improvement tools and techniques.
Master's Degree (Required)
Experience in Quality (Required)
Certification at the highest or master level in QI/PI methodologies (such as Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Sensi) (Required)
Demonstrated skills in the application of advanced QI/PI methods, such as Six Sigma, Lean Production, Kaizen, and PDSA (Required)
Strong technical ability in basic business software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Vizio, and statistical analysis software such as Minitab, SPSS, R, etc. (Required)
