Job Summary- Patient Access Pre Registrar
Responsibilities include creating reservations in the Patient Management system utilizing PICIS and SCI
Solutions scheduling systems.
This responsibility requires attention to detail , accuracy and speed.
Other responsibilities include accurate completion of pre registration functions for all scheduled patients who have accounts that qualify on their worklists.
The position requires the ability to professionally and efficiently communicate with patients through incoming and outgoing calls. It also requires professional communication with scheduling departments and physician offices.
The position requires the ability to navigate through the registration screens to accurately populate fields including those that may be payer specific.
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
2 year / Associate Degree: Health services or business (Preferred)
Vocational / Technical Degree: Health services (Preferred)
Experience and Skills
1-3 Years Customer service background, medical office background including insurance and registration (preferred)
