  • Responsibilities

    The Operations Manager for the Surgical & Psych Division is responsible for overseeing performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the assigned unit through planning, directing and coordinating assigned department responsibilities in the following nursing units: Surgical, Ortho/Trauma, Joint Replacement, Med/Surg/Urology, Inpatient Psych, Psych Emergency Services & Medical Complexity.

     

    The Operations Resource Manager reports to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations. The Operations Resource Manager provides data interpretation and analytical methodologies, and data presentation formats to use for analysis purposes; analyzing data for pay period, monthly, quarterly and annual reports; works closely with the members of the nursing leadership team to analyze unit, division and department data.

    Qualifications

    Education Requirements

    • 4 year / Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Non-Nursing Bachelor’s degree with a MSN or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Required)
    • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Required)
    • Master's Degree: Master of Science in Nursing (Preferred)

    Certification and Licensure Requirements

    • ACLS CERTIFICATION (Required)
    • BLS Certification (Required)
    • PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
    • Certification in area of specialty or management (Preferred)
    • Membership in a professional organization (Preferred)

    Experience and Skills

    • 1-3 Years Hands on Nursing Experience (Required)
    • 1-3 Years Leadership Experience (Required)
    • 1-3 Years Healthcare Operations Experience (Preferred)
