The Advanced Practice Professional Clinical Coordinator manages the scheduling of clinical advanced practitioner and selected ancillary student training experiences within Reading Hospital and Tower Health Medical Group and collaborates with the other Tower Health Hospitals to support clinical educational experiences across the health system.
The Coordinator acts as a liaison to interpret and match the needs of students and instructors to clinical sites within Reading Hospital, Tower Health Medical Group and other Tower Health clinical sites, with appropriate learning experiences. The Coordinator acts as a liaison to interpret and match the needs of advanced practitioner and selected ancillary students and instructors to agencies with appropriate learning experiences.
The Coordinator is responsible for complex communication and problem solving & will maintain positive working relationships with a variety of contacts inside and outside the Tower Health System.
The Coordinator operates from a solid understanding of advanced practitioner and selected ancillary student education and practice, combined with knowledge of the organizational environments where advanced practitioners and ancillary professionals practice. The Coordinator arranges clinical placements in a variety of settings (e.g. hospitals, ambulatory practices and clinics)
Following consultation with Clinical Coordinators, the Coordinator is responsible for negotiating and arranging clinical experiences which meet the educational requirements for advanced practitioner and selected ancillary students in all programs.
