    The Inpatient Phlebotomist obtains specimens for patients including, but not limited to, blood cultures, venipuncture and capillary samples. Assists in clerical duties for the department.


    Opportunities can include shifts starting at 5/6am, 1pm, or overnight shifts. Shifts can be 6,8, or 10 hours. Some positions require weekend work. Opportunity for overtime and additional hours may be available. 


    Education Requirements:
    *High School Diploma or GED (Required)
    Non Degree Program: Phlebotomy or MA courses (Preferred)


    Certification and Licensure Requirements:
    *If role requires the use of a hospital owned vehicle, a valid PA driver's license with appropriate driving record
    is required. (Required)

    Experience and Skills:
    0-1 Year Previous laboratory or phlebotomy experience in a hands on setting (Preferred)
    Required Skills: Excellent Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, General Clerical Skills, High
    level of multitasking.
