    Responsibilities

    The Emergency Management Coordinator directs and coordinates the management of Emergency Response Staff, material resources and other assets of The Reading Hospital and Medical Center to meet the requirements of regulatory agencies while maintaining a positive financial position. He/she demonstrates and promotes continued collegial relations and an espirit de corp with all departments, both clinical and support. He/she establishes and maintains team practice among all staff and insures understanding and adherence to established written policies and procedures as they relate to internal and external alerts. 

    Qualifications

    Education Requirements *High School Diploma or GED (Required) 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: General (Preferred) Vocational / Technical Degree: Electrical (Preferred) Certification and Licensure Requirements *Emergency Management-Certification (Required) *National Incident Management System (NIMS) (Required) *PA State Certification in Hazardous Materials Handling (Required) Licensed Electrician (Preferred) Experience and Skills *4-5 Years Emergency Services (Required) *4-5 Years Infastructure Support (Required) Required Skills: General Clerical Skills, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word Organizational Expectations 01.
