    Responsibilities

    Pottstown Hospital is currently recruiting an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in administering employee benefits that include a working knowledge of  the following:

    1. FMLA
    2. Worker's Compensation
    3. Short and Long Term Disability
    4. Retirement Planning

    The HR Generalist will also administer a variety of human resources initiatives and processes in areas such as:

    • On-boarding talent
    • Performance management
    • processing of employee data changes.

    The HR Generalist provides guidance to management and employees on human resources practices, policies and procedures. In this position, the HR Generalist may also lead and/or support short and long term projects within HR.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and directly related experience

    Experience/Skills

    1. Demonstrated HRIS experience
    2. Proven ability to work with HR leadership to implement process improvements and policies
    3. Strong project management skills
    4. Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner
    5. Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information
    6. Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts
    7. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively with a team environment in a professional and positive manner
    8. Familiarity a variety of office equipment, standard software packages and applications
    9. Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office suite
