Provides supportive care through direct patient observation under the direction of the professional nurse. Functions according to the policies and procedures of Pottstown Hospital and the Department of Nursing. Observes room for safe environment for patient(s), visitors and staff members.Observes patient for any behavior that could indicate potential problems for patient or staff and alerts nursing staff immediately. Promotes patient satisfaction by treating patients with respect and compassion.
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required
Experience: Previous experience in a patient care environment preferred
Certification/Licenses: Valid Healthcare Provider CPR required; CPI training required (hospital will provide)
