The CDI Specialist provides concurrent review of clinical documentation in the medical record by a thorough chart review to identify severity, comorbidities, complications, working DRG’s and procedures.
The Clinical Documentation Specialist works collaboratively with the medical staff, providers and other caregivers as necessary via written/verbal communication to obtain accurate and complete physician documentation that supports the severity of patient illness and risk of mortality.
The Clinical Documentation Specialist collaborates with physicians, physician extenders, nurses, case managers and Medical Record coders to identify principal diagnosis options, secondary diagnoses, procedures, assign working DRGs and identify educational opportunities.

Blood Bank Supervisor for Phoenixville Hospital's Laboratory
Shift: 40 hours per week, days
Organizes and directs the daily activities of the laboratory department. Responsible for supervising laboratory personnel, conducting and overseeing quality assurance, quality control and collecting, analyzing and interpreting lab results. Supervisor is a considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to laboartory manager .
Supports the Practice Director with the day to day operations of the physician practices. Will help with the transition of new practices and will be responsible for coordinating the work of clerical and billing support staff. Overseeing daily office operations. Works with the Practice Administrator to ensure the billing and operation functions of the practices are fulfilled. Will coordinate the initial training of personnel on billing software. Overseeing all ording of supploies for the practices. Will participate in the implementation and support of EMR in the practices. Implements and integrates established corporate guidelines and policies throughout all physician practices.
Position is for a Full-time Financial Counselor for Phoenixville Hospital
Shift: Days, 40 hours per week
The Financial Counselor functions according to the policies and procedures of Phoenixville Hospital and the Finance Division.
Contacts and interviews patients and/or their representative(s) in order to obtain the insurance and/or financial information
necessary to facilitate timely collections based on a mutual and viable agreement to both parties. Follows the guidelines as outlined by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Represents the Hospital in a professional, positive and courteous manner at all times.
